The story of a photographer

I am a Toronto-based photographer, originally from Hong Kong, with a diverse educational and professional background that enriches my work in photography. I hold a master’s degree in information systems and security, along with diplomas in Commercial and Graphic Design from Hong Kong, and a diploma in Photography from Canada.

My career began in the IT field, where I spent many years as an IT professional focused on security and web development. This technical expertise not only sharpened my problem-solving skills but also enhanced my understanding of digital tools and processes. These skills have proven invaluable in my photography journey, allowing me to effectively manage my workflow, utilize advanced editing techniques, and create stunning visuals that stand out.

I initially worked as a freelance photographer in Hong Kong while pursuing my IT career. This dual focus allowed me to cultivate my passion for photography, which eventually led me to specialize in interior and architectural photography. I enjoy capturing the elegance and unique character of spaces, often collaborating with realtors in Toronto to produce images that effectively highlight properties.

In 2024, I was honored to win 1st place at the Cap Rodeo 16, a recognition that reflects my dedication to my craft. My photography style is characterized by simplicity, precision, and sophistication, with a meticulous eye for detail that ensures each image conveys the true essence of the environment.

I am committed to continuous growth in my photography and look forward to exploring new projects that inspire me and resonate with my clients. My unique blend of IT and artistic skills positions me well to navigate the evolving landscape of photography, making me a versatile and innovative professional in the field.
